Dental Implant and Bone Grafting

A dental implant is a replacement for a missing tooth. If there is insufficient bone, bone grafting is performed either before or simultaneously with the implant. In the upper jaw, a sinus lift is sometimes required.

Apicoectomy (Root Surgery)

Tooth Extraction Tooth extraction is the most common dental surgery and is performed when a tooth cannot be restored or causes pain and infection. There are two types of extraction:

  • Simple extraction (using forceps)

  • Surgical extraction (requiring gum incision or bone removal)

After the procedure, maintaining oral hygiene and taking prescribed medications is essential.

  • Consume soft and cool foods during the first days.
